   The Derwent Crop Protection File provides an index to the world's
   literature on agrochemicals research and usage covering the years
   1968-1984.
   
   For Derwent's current coverage of crop protection research, use
   DCBF's companion database - DCPU.
   
   The Derwent Crop Protection Backfile provides bibliographic
   citations to worldwide research on pesticides, plant and insect
   growth regulators, attractants, repellents and biological control.
   It is an excellent source for information on all aspects of
   agricultural chemical products, including experimental results.
   Conferences and congresses in the agrochemicals area are also
   covered.
   
   Each document within DCBF is extensively indexed with a separate
   indexing 'sentence' for each chemical covered by the original paper.
   Adverse effects, chemical interactions and activity data is also
   covered by the indexing.
   
   DCBF would be of particular interest to agrochemicals researchers,
   chemists, pharmacists, and information specialists involved in the
   field of crop protection.
   
   Use DCBF to find information on:
   - fungicide toxicity to mammals
   - adverse interactions between insecticides and herbicides
   
   Sources:
   Information is taken from approximately 1150 scientific and
   technical journals worldwide, with over 40% of coverage coming from
   conference proceedings and meetings reports. DCBF corresponds to the
   hard-copy Derwent Crop Protection File Abstracts journal.
