The Derwent Veterinary Drug Backfile provides an index to the
world's literature on veterinary drug research and usage from 1968
to 1982.
Information on everything to do with veterinary drug research, from
synthesis to screening, development and formulation, to animal use
can be found in the Derwent Veterinary Drug Backfile.
Each scientific and medical paper included in DVBF is extensively
indexed with a separate indexing 'sentence' for each drug discussed
in the original paper. The unique indexing also encompasses
biological and chemical matters of interest and structure/activity
data, adverse effects, drug interactions, therapy, and substructure
codes.
DVBF will be of particular interest to veterinary researchers,
chemists, information specialists and pharmacists who all need to
search the complete veterinary drug and biomedical literature.
Use DVBF to find:
- information on the treatment of dogs with praziquantel
- how many of the above studies used the preparation Droncit
- information on the use of vaccines to immunize cattle against
Campylobacter fetus
Sources:
Approximately 1150 scientific and veterinary medicine journals are
