Abstract
Aircontact Cargo, a top Norwegian air cargo firm, has been
acquired from Aircontact Gruppen, firm controlled by Roll
/Stenersen (Oslo, Norway), by Bilspedition (Sweden), transport
firm. The Swedish company, now the leading all-round forwarding
firm in Scandinavia, intends to merge Aircontact Cargo into Scan
Flight, a new firm, as of 01 February 1992. Blispedition's
airfreight turnover in Norway increased via the acquisition to
GBP20 mil from GBP10 mil, making the company one of Norway's
leading three firms operating in this arena.**.
